highest admission recorded ( 2001- 29 cases)
majority hospitalised for 3 days or less (79%)
male:female ratio = 3:1ratio

most common clinical presentation: pain + swelling (92%)
Treatment: cloxacillin (48%) , polyvalent snake antivenom (25%) , tetanus antitoxin (34%)
